Your Commitments

As an EOP&S student, you are asked to fulfill the following responsibilities in order to continue receiving services:

  • Complete three (3) EOP&S contacts every Fall and Spring semester. Contacts can be completed in the following ways:
    • Meet with an EOP&S Counselor
    • Meet with an EOP&S Success Coach (counts towards one contact max each semestser)
    • Attend an EOP&S Workshop (counts towards one contact max each semester)
  • Complete Required Units
    • New EOP&S Students - must be enrolled in 12 units upon acceptance
      • DSPS students may provide a reduced course load letter
    • Continuing EOP&S Students - must be enrolled in at least one course
  • Maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher

If you are unable to meet the program requirements due to an extenuating circumstance, you may submit an EOP&S Student Petition Form. For help or questions with this process, email our office at eops@60654a.com or speak with your EOP&S Counselor or Success Coach.


Additional Responsibilities

  • If you are having difficulty in any class, you should inform an EOP&S Counselor to discuss possible changes to your Educational Plan. 

  • Seek tutoring or other helpful resources upon having difficulty in enrolled classes.

  • Inform an EOP&S Counselor/Coach before withdrawing from any class(es), including withdrawing from the college.

  • Inform an EOP&S Counselor of any changes or course substitutions to your Educational Plan.

  • Check your CANVAS and go.60654a.com email account on a regular basis for program updates.

  • Timing out of EOP&S
    • Once admitted into EOP&S, a student may participate until the completion of 70 degree applicable units from all accredited colleges attended.
    • Students in high unit majors are permitted to participate in EOP&S beyond 70 units, but may not exceed 90 degree applicable units.
